For those who are the antithesis of incels, Locktober is a holiday. Vol-cels, in contrast to the involuntarily celibate, are devoid voluntarily. Men lock their belongings in a cage and give the keys to a willing partner for the full month of October as part of the BDSM ritual known as "locktober," which is becoming more and more popular. I mistook this for the joyous holiday gourd season!
Although locktober seems to be more popular among LGBT people—or at least more talked about—there are also supporters of locktober who are straight. Each person's experience with the exercise is unique; some report wanting to feel more obedient. Some people wish to "reset their appetite for sex." I'm sure that some people are just anticipating a memorable November 1st.
